Terms & Conditions

Service Policy

Service by Appointment

All services are provided by appointment only. Drop-offs and pick-ups must be scheduled in advance.

Estimates & Authorization

A diagnostic fee may apply to evaluate equipment.

No repairs will be performed without written customer authorization.

If repair is approved, the diagnostic fee will be credited toward the final invoice.

Estimates are based on initial inspection and may change if additional issues are discovered. Customers will be notified before any additional work is performed.

Pricing & Payment

Labor rates and flat-rate services are communicated prior to repair.

Payment is due upon completion of service.

Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of service.

Equipment may not be released until payment is received.

Parts

Standard service parts may be included in flat-rate tune-ups.

Additional or specialty parts are billed separately.

Parts availability may affect repair timelines.

Unclaimed Equipment

Equipment not picked up within 30 days of repair completion may be subject to storage fees. Equipment left unclaimed for an extended period may be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with Washington State law.

Removed or replaced parts may be discarded unless requested in advance.

Condition of Equipment

Equipment is accepted as-is.

Some equipment may have pre-existing damage, wear, or internal issues not visible during initial inspection.

Thornwood Small Engine Repair, LLC is not responsible for failures related to pre-existing conditions.

Warranty

Labor is warranted for 30 days from the date of service unless otherwise stated.

Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

Parts warranties are subject to the manufacturer's terms.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

Removing personal items from equipment.

Providing accurate information about known issues.

Ensuring equipment is safe and reasonably clean for service

Limitation of Liability

Thornwood Small Engine Repair, LLC is not responsible for:

Loss of use or delays due to parts availability

Damage caused by improper use, fuel issues, or lack of maintenance

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service on equipment that is unsafe, excessively damaged, or not economical to repair.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be posted on our website.
